Table saw is a machine which used to cutting wood in different shape and size. It will reduce your work as well as it give you smooth finishing quality. Table saw is a very essential tool for your workshop or garage. It makes your job fast and increases your production. Now a day’s most of the woodworkers use this machine. In professional work or just in hobby table saw brought a great comfort in your work. There are different types of table saw with different feature are available in market. Those will help you in completing different task.

Today I am going to tell you how to use a table saw. Those are the basic guide line to how to use a table saw in your work. I will describe you the adva

nce guide line of using a table saw in my next post. Now I will describe few steps about how to use a table saw:

1, be careful: Table saw is a piece of dangerous powerful materials. It can remove your fingers or eyes if you don’t pay your full attention. Don’t be afraid of using this tool but be careful. Always wear safety dress and glasses to protect you.

 2, Parts of the Table Saw: it has different parts and tools. Each part used for different task. a table, Fence, Fence Dog, Blade, Blade Insert, Blade Height Adjustment Wheel,  Blade Angle Adjustment Lever and a Power Button are the main part of a table saw. For the better result you have to know how to use table saw in properly.

3, Cutting types: Three types of cuts that can be performed on a table saw basically. They are, a cross cut, a ripping cut and a dado cut. A cross cut is usually performed to be a cut across the grain. A ripping cut is most common cut that goes down the length of the board. A dado cut is a wide cut that is most often used in jointers. It can be achieved using the miter amount, but there are special blades that will yield it more quickly and accurately.

4, Blade height setting: Two schools of thought on how to set blade height, first is to set the blade only higher 1/8 inch than the top of the wood that needs to be cut. The second school of thought is to set the blade height much above the top of the wood to be cut.

5, Adjustment of the Fence:  it used to accurately cut pieces of wood lengthwise. Making an adjustment to the width of your cut raise the lever and the fence will slide side to side. The fence is controlled by the dog at its front.

6, making the Cuts: making a cross cut first use an appropriate tool to make a measure and mark on your board. Then start your work carefully.

7, Maintenance: there is little maintenance for your table saw which give you perfect performance. Good habits before starting your machine check all tools and blade, diver belt etc.
